What to do with all those feelings?!? We all have them, so why isn't there a manual about how to handle them? “Treating others the way we want to be treated” is not always so easy. Campers will learn about how to make the “Golden Rule” come to life through art, games, role play, experiential, and story telling activities. Throughout the week, each camper will create his/her personal “toolbox” to help cope with the powerful feelings encountered when growing up.

Feel like you can't keep everything straight? Have you ever done your homework, but forgot to turn it in? Remember the night before you had a book report due the next day? Start the school year off right! The focus of the week will be developing tools and strategies for studying, homework – and just keeping it all together! The activities in this camp will be especially helpful for individuals dealing with executive functioning issues. Campers will engage in a week of games, art making and strategizing designed to make the school year a success.
